great little card
Once I remembered to move the jumpers to external from the internal default position, doh, card worked fine. Using eSATA is very nice for saving time on copies, backups, sharing out etc, no complaints at all.

win7: no good
Did not work with Windows 7. Windows detected hardware, but port did not show up.

Good Value
Product states that it delivers 3gig per sec. Not true, at most you get 55mb per sec when transfering from C:Drive to eSata Drive. Overall it is still better than a usb connection or a firewire connection.

It works!
Wanted to add an eSATA port for another harddrive for my Dell. Dell sales and support were totally clueless and worthless and directed me to expensive incompatable solutions. This card actually is pretty much plug and play on Windows 7. Once installed it worked flawlessly! The directions with the card do not conform to reality, but come close. Installation is not for the faint of heart, but if you are even a bit geeky...go for it!

Firmware issues
This product does not function with windows 7. downloaded a newer version of the firmware from the manufacturer which would not load. works fine with XP
