PC easily and affordably. No hassles configuring a router, switch or a hub just plug it in; load our terminal
server software and you’re ready to go.
What is NComputing X550?
The X550 is a new way to expand your existing computer by simply adding a PCI card and
connecting our multi-user terminal boxes. Each PCI card has five (5) RJ45 output ports and five (5)
terminal boxes so you can easily connect more users via CAT 5e or CAT 6 STP cables. A limit of two (2) PCI cards may
be used with each computer thus, extending 1 PC to 11 users!
How does it work?
Today’s computers are so fast and powerful it’s like having a super computer that’s being under utilized.
The NComputing X550 and our Terminal Server software take advantage of the excess computing power and
redistributing it to each computer terminal. Everyone connected receives the same speed and
performance of the Host PC, plus each user works independently and securely from each other.

- CPU: Any PC with a 2.4 GHz processor or higher (Up to 5 X550 Multi Boxes can be connected to the X550 PCI card).
- RAM: 1024 MB or more.
- Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, and optional speakers for each X550 Multi Box.
- The quantity of users recommended for a host PC depends greatly on the software used, and the type of user.

Be careful, NComputing does not tell you that you need to purchase 5 Windows 7 (or XP) licenses to be legal $$$. - MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSE TERMS: Remote Access Technologies............... Other users may access a session from any device using these technologies, if the remote device is separately licensed to run the software.

no buy this when u have 64 bit computer
this thing only work up to 32 bit, new computers with 64 bit, means it junk. plus it have a low profile graphic card, means can use to game. with the price, no worth it. i fond a way cheaper on.

Where it fits, IT FITS!
This is not a solution for every deployment, but if you do your research and choose the right device, it works flawlessly. Their tech support answered my q's within 5 minutes, and I have yet to have any compatibility issues with any OS, software or tracking or filtering software... it just works. I used Cat6 and one terminal is 30 feet from the host. It works great. Crisp multimedia, and superb performance at $80 per station... HP, Wyse...I have used you, and you have nothing on these guys. When can I buy stock?

Watch Cable lengths
I thought I had it covered, but I must have missed where they said only 5 meter length cable. I just looked again and still don't see it outside their website troubleshooting area. They will probably work well within those parameters, but any stretching the length, they are dead. With special cat6 cable that have individually shielded twisted pairs, you can get 10m. Good luck
