Got a lemon
Bought the CX430 for my home server back in Feb 2012 and today is Aug 2012 it is dead as a door nail. I have bought Corsair PSU in the past and was suprised that that I got a lemon. It was a very quite PSU when it was working it is very quite now.

built and designed wonderfully
I bought this psu for my first ever build, sadly, i got the wrong voltage, so it wasn't to my needs. but, i did check the interface and all. the cables come wrapped in a nice black material that adds to the display of it very nicely, its a very attractive component, and affortable, even for a 16 year old making minimum wage :)

quiet and slick
had to dump the horrible dell PSU that came with my system. this thing is awesome. it's ultra quiet, comes encased in a sexy matte plastic, a nifty hologram type logo, with all the wires covered in sturdy some-such material. they provide plastic ties to straighten up any excess wires. i can see what all the fuss about corsair is. if you don't plan on running a power-hungry gaming rig that needs to be upgraded a lot, but something more modest, this is for you.

Solid, quality unit
Got it so I could upgrade graphics, expand. Replaced crap OEM PSU - computer runs better right away, haven't installed new graphics card yet. Voltages are all correct and very stable, unlike old one. Nice cables and connectors - modular cables would be good, though. Very quiet. It was a great deal on sale, would be a pretty good value even at the regular price.
