This case is ideal for anyone who needs lots of room and wants a high quality case. Please note this case weighs almost 40 lbs. so if you plan on moving your case frequently you might want to find a lighter alternative. The case is quiet. I replaced the stock fans with a few silent case fans and I am running off a couple Solid State hard drives. The only noise I hear (when at max load) is my video card (high end) and the DVD-ROM. Even then the sound dampening foam does it's job and the noise is hardly noticeable. |

Good overall case, but needs to have added air flow to upper compartment. I have ordered extra fans for the front bays and PCI slots to compensate for the lack of air flow. The access panel is not easy to remove, but has a good seal. Plenty of room for components and room to work. Power supply cables must be fairly long to reach Mobo. All in all meets expectations for a good price and I would recommend this to anyone looking to custom build a system. |

I purchased this because i really liked the simple server type look to it. For the amount of HD trays available the price is unbeatable. I also had some spare optical bad HD converters so i end up with 16 HD bays. Very solid construction and good enough cable management options if you know what you are doing. You will need an additional intake fan to keep the upper compartment cool and a fan controller to keep the noise levels down. You might also want to change the two 80mm fans as most noise comes from those.
Other then that, very good product that will be my home server for a very long time. |

Everything about this case is great except it's hard to put in certain drives and dashboards in and secure the right side if the included drive locks aren't long enough. Large, quiet, and nice to look at though. Wish the LED came in green though. That was the first thing to go. |

This case is hardly silent, but indeed very quiet. I did not like the door so I removed it. I added the NZXT Sentry LX fan controller - very nice touch. Features 7 optical bays and 9 hard drive bays - outstanding. Room for 2 more HD's in the bottom. The case is square, plain, and heavy (because it's not made of cheap plastic). Plenty of room inside. I like the rubber grommets in the HD bays. NZXT will send a 2nd fan assembly free of charge (uses 3 OD bays) or keep as a spare. I am happy with the interior temperatures but still plan to add 2 more fans. I highly recommend this case to anyone! |

Solid construction. Sturdy HDD Bays and easy cd rom tray management but with all the padding and noise reducing foam its a little warm for me. Intel i7 975

This case is fantastic. They seem to have thought of everything. I wanted a large quiet case, and this certainly exceeded my expectations. there is rubber between the case and everything that can cause vibration, plenty of room for a large number of disks. plentiful and quiet fans. This is a fantastic case. |

This is a solid case, even the door is heavy. The door edge is SHARP, be careful. I sliced 3 of my fingers trying to put the door on.
If you have a lot of cables and hard drives it is tricky to get the door and screws to line up.
The case is silent with the STOCK FANS, but if you add extra fans for cooling then you will hear a little noise.

I built a completely new system using this case. All I can say is Nice. There is plenty of room and the separate compartments really seem to help with heat control. The power supply mounts on the bottom and helps keep the unit from being top heavy. Ten drive slots allow lots of room for expansion. I already have 6 of them filled with 4 gig of storage available. The four fans that come with the case work well in controlling the heat. The 1000 watt power supply mounted perfectly and easily. And quiet, I can not get over how quiet this unit is. The only complaint I have is the top popup panel. None of it worked. The blue leds are nice but as one other reviewer commented, they are a bit bright. It would be nice if they could be dimmed a bit. They are definitely brighter than any night light. |

I've been building my own workstations for years and this is the best case I've ever seen. The quality is excellant; I was even impressed by the packaging! No styrofoam; foam and cardboard. These people mean business. Plenty of room and great cooling; I'm running at least 5C cooler than my previous.
I'd buy another NZXT in a heartbeat |
