The Hauppauge WinTV-HVR1600 PCI Dual TV Tuner allows you to watch high definition ATSC digital TV, clear QAM digital cable TV and analog cable TV from your PC. By using the high quality MPEG-2, you can record your favorite TV show in a window or full screen and watch it in 1080i high definition resolution. It records TV programs to your PC’s hard disk in an MPEG-2 format. This TV Tuner is included with a remote control and IR blaster to control satellite and cable TV set top boxes. It is a 125 channel cable ready TV tuner with dbx-TV stereo and decoder for great TV sound. You can switch between analog and digital channels automatically, thanks to its Hauppauge's WinTV v7 application. This thing is great
I always put a Hauppauge Tv Tuner in my computers. I had to buy this one because I bought a new pc and I needed a PCI BUS as apposed to AGP. The HD tuner is awesome. If you have FIOS this might not be the right card for you unless you plan on buying an antenna. but with basic cable this thing is Great.

Great Tuner, great price
Since this is the only tuner I've used I can only say good things about it's performance. My only problem is the tuner does not set up with my Internet cable system, Maybe I'll figure that out also.

Solid Performer
Very easy to install in Windows 7 Professional. Pictures in 1080i are great. Installed into HTPC I was building and very easy, works with Windows Media Center flawlessly and the recording was as good as live. I recommend this product.

Save your money
Piece of junk. I am an OEM builder and this card is junk. Nothing to say positive about this card and try to update it the manufactures website is gone. Updates lead to a dead link - go figure.
