The Slingbox PRO-HD is the first ever HD-streaming Slingbox. With the Slingbox PRO-HD, you can watch and control multiple devices – including your standard- or high-definition DVR, digital cable, satellite receiver, or DVD player – from anywhere in the world on your computer or mobile phone. And your high definition programming streams in HD quality for an amazing picture. With the Slingbox PRO-HD you can watch your favorite HD shows and sporting events from anywhere.
What It Is And Why You Need It:
- HD Streaming; connects to any one of your HD sources for true high-definition streaming on your computer and great picture quality on your mobile phone.*
- Multiple Inputs; connect to and control mutiple video sources, including your DVR, digital cable, satellite receiver, and DVD player.
- Built-in Digital Tuner; features an integrated digital tuner for access to analog or digital cable (clear QAM), and digital over-the-air broadcasts (ATSC). The digital tuner may used independently from your cable or satellite box.
- No Monthly Fees; watch and control your TV and its programming on your compatible mobile phone, PDA, laptop or desktop with no monthly subscription fee.**

the pro's and con's
the unit dose work for 5 sec. then quite's then after the unit get's no power after 2 day' you will have to re-setup to the account. the unit work good on video over the net when it dose work the tech at sling box are no help after 30 day plus you will need a sling catcher and a sling media box to sent it out to the net and a account on sling web site to get it to work but the free stuff dont work but from what i hear after you pay for the upgrade account you get better streaming

A Most Have!!!!
This product works great,,,,I bought it cuz I'm always working and I have no time to watch my PPV events,now I order them at home and i get to watch them anywhere even at Work....It works great and if you are watching it with a good connection the HD quiality it's amazing

Have it for a month, so far it's good
Bought this for a trip to Argentina. Worked perfect on the desktop but failed on the Iphone with wifi. In USA works crystal on the Iphone, maybe the service was slower in Argentina. Read alot of bad reviews about crapping out after a year. Only have this unit for a month now and completely satisfied with tech support and the quality. Only time will tell. Will get back to all May of 2012. PS- Not compatiable with HDMI only downfall so far.

TV Anywhere with smart phone, computer
If you have cable or TV at home and want to watch it anywhere you have a data connection, this is the best. I never miss a home game when I'm on the road, out to dinner, or over visiting people I really don't care to see. Hotel TV Channels are not good, and you get full access to your Set Top Box as if you were right there at home. Just make sure no one else is at home watching that TV, because they will see what your watching or they can change the channel on you. That is why I rent another dedicated DVR Set top box just for the Sling. When I connect to it, I know I have solo access to what ever I want to watch. If I want to hang out in the living room with the family but don't want to watch whey they are watching, I pull up the Sling on my Lap Top and watch what I want to watch with Head Phones. The Best Product Ever! HD Quality is Very Impressive Too with this model. Only Draw back, only 1 device can view and control the Sling at a Time.

Love it - Best Ever!
This device is off the hook! Considering what is does... Stream my home satellite TV over the Internet so I can watch anywhere. What more can I ask for. It is by no means perfect but it really does work. I watch NBA using 3G on IPhone when I am out. Or my friend doesn't have cable TV but he has Hi-speed Internet so we can still watch the game at his house. Or if I want to watch an MLB day game at work. And of course if I am working on the computer at home I can watch the game in the corner of my Mac. I love it. All my friends and relatives want one now too.
