Can't even find these in stores
The alternative being sold in electronics stores is to convert your mouse or keyboard to USB input which means they don't work unless Windows is running (without a non-simple software change). This is simple and cheap and they work like they aren't even there.

Works
Needed to extend the cord for my keyboard at work. My computer is too far from my desk and I would constantly pull the cord out and have to put it back in. This was the solution.

really makes a difference
with a cable either they work or they don't - this one does - but it's amazing the difference it makes having the extra length on the keyboard and mouse cables

Great peoduct and the price is right.
