Solid performer for little money
For the money, these are superb. They don't have that enveloping sound that high-end speakers have but the sound they produce is more than acceptable, particularly for our use. We use these in an open Sprung building of approximately 3500sqft. I am more than satisfied with this purchase, particular for the little money spent. Strongly recommended.

Great Deal for Great Speakers
I was looking for something comparable to the Bose Free Space 51 speakers. I heard the Bose at my church. They had 4 total outside. I parked at the furthest space in the lot and could hear the sound and bass. Unbelievable! However, the price tag was way to high for me! So I started researching comparable models. None really compare to the Bose. However, for my size yard and needs, the Yamaha 390s have been perfect. Great sound and Bass. I have a fence and I think it helps by bouncing the sound back to me. I purchased the black speakers, but would recommend the white instead if you want them to blend in and not stand out in the back yard. I have them plugged into a Yamaha reciever that has A and B speakers. Works ok and I saved a lot of money.
