This just takes the cake. sata optical drives are the only way to go. IDE is slower and their cables restirct air flow. all those problems were solved with this product Good Job Sony! |

This unit does everything I want it to do. I have had it for over a year now and have had no problems what so ever. It may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but I didn't buy it for that. A simple reliable optic drive for a great price. |

This product was easy to install once i got the correct cables for it. When I opened my Computer I realized i had to get the SATA cable converter for power and the SATA cable for the computer to do the install. Once purchased, the install went in about 5 minutes and I was writing a DVD. Quick and easy and burns real quick. So make sure you don't need the other cables or conversion cable when purchasing. |

I bought this as part of a barebones kit that I put together myself. I am EXTREMELY happy with this product. It was easy to work with, great instructions, solid workmanship & many great features. I can't say enough good things about this. I HIGHLY recommend this. It ROCKS! |
