Great Addition to my Laptop
Installed this in a 1 year old Sony Vaio laptop. Had no issues what-so-ever installing the device and cloning the existing Windows 7 installation to the SSD. Measured boot times with the 7200RPM ''platter'' drive, it was a total of 130 seconds from pressing power on until a usable desktop appeared (no more ''busy'' cursor). Now that time has reduced to 28 seconds! Working with programs on the laptop is much faster as well. Definitely an upgrade that is worth the price. Drive has been in the computer almost 1 month now, no BSOD's or other issues, no problems at all.

Worked great for about 45 mins
I was really excited about getting this drive to use for my OS drive in my desktop PC. I currently have a hybrid drive but that just wasn't fast enough. So once I received this drive I installed in in my desktop and began the process of formatting and reloading the OS and other programs that I wanted to run from this drive. I was about 45 mins into the software install process when all of a sudden I got the Blue Screen of Death followed by an immediate attempt to reboot, which was unsuccessful. The drive must have completely died, because it didn't even appear in BIOS anymore. I put the hybrid drive back in and things were back to normal. Tech Support at OCZ couldn't help so the drive has been shipped back. At this point I'm going to wait for these drives to mature a bit more and the price to come down before I try again
