Good no frills enclosure
Easy assembly. Works fine. Low cost. What more do you want? It turns out that I wanted smart power management which this does not have. But if you just want a basic external drive enclosure, this is it.

Astonishingly Easy!
I have put several external drives together and it's not rocket science. There is usually, however, some fumbling around with the case and the screws and the internal connections, etc. So I had a drive out of an old computer I wanted to convert to a backup for a newer computer. That's why I ordered this enclosure and you definitely can't beat the price. What I couldn't believe was how easy it was. It was, literally, 1. open the case 2. slide in the drive 3. close the case 4. hook up the power and usb cables It's done. It was SO easy that I monitored the drive for a while, thinking I must have done something wrong. But it works great since the first time I plugged it in!
