ASUS Rocks!

Simplest set up and install of any board I have ever come across, did I mention its an ASUS? This is an awesome mobo, recomend to anyone, a newbie could pull this off with stellar results, no joke. Kudos to ASUS once again for leaving their competition in the dust!!!

Asus motherboards are awesome.

I have had several asus motherboards over the years I love their warranty and customer service. I bought this new sabertooth board to replace an asus motherboard that I bought a year ago that just failed to post I am currently sending it back in for service asus told me they will replace it no cost to me so that is awesome I will have a spare board to use. The new board with the uefi bios is great I love the gui interface it is so much easier to use. I will re-post in a few months if there are any issues which I do not foresee.

Great for my game build

So, I really enjoyed that little certificate that showed how they abused my mobo before sending it to me to show me that it still worked! And well... IT WORKS GREAT! I've had it now for over six months, no problems, flashing the bios is easier than ever!!! (OH OH OH! The BIOS is amazing with new mobos in general, so this is my first one that had mouse control... It's neat.) I am running 16gb corsair vengeance ram with this, a thermaltake 1000 watt psu, amd phenom x4 am3 socket (So yes, it's compatible with am3 and am3+). I have a coolermaster v8 custom mounted cooler that I use to overclock my cpu, and I've been overclocking since the day I received it... 3.2 stock clock, now sits at 4.1 oc'ed, all day, every day, no cooling issues. I also have an NZXT case with 6 fans larger than regular 120mm's. GREAT PRODUCT, I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for a reliable build

not happy

i had sabertooth for about 5 month and i ben haven problem booting and naw my cpu led stay which it mean erra inposible to find out couse its dead noting but cpu LED is on on board

Easy to install, working fantastic! Brought me back to gaming no lag issues.120 gig ssd and eight core amd fx chipset. this rig is Fast

Verry Good MB

Very good MB Built in fan controller's everything run's about 8 degrees above room temp.

BAD nic

Install went good except my mounting screws were a little short and I had to get new ones. First time I connected to internet I discovered my network card wasn't working. !st attempt to contact asus using chat on another pc didn't go well disconnected twice. 2nd time they decided I should do a RMA as it was bad. I didn't want to go threw the hassle and installed a PCI nic I had. Other then that it seems to work ok.

This thing rocks

Between the ample USB 2 and 3 slots, the sata 6gb slots and the other expansion slots.. this thing rocks. Stays cool and is lightning fast. Easy install, easy care, awesome sensor package. Enough fan connections to power an AC unit! (just kidding) but it does have a lot of fan plug in spots. Great for handling heat, adding bling or what ever you want. The flexibility of this thing is amazing.

Reliable Upgrade

I originally started off with a basic HP Pavilion P6000 and slowly upgraded the PSU, graphics, hard drives, fans, case so forth over the last 3 years. The last thing to install was the mobo, after shopping around I decided to purchase the 990fx. Needless to say, I am extremely happy. Also the BIOS is sexy, clean and easy to find and tweak stuff. Even for a amateur like me.

This board is serious

Easy to setup and install. This board has all setting you will need. As someone mention before could have been nice if the board had the new PCIe but still a very good board and lots of place to setup video.
