Buyer Beware
You should check with the manufacturer before you purchase this product. In my case ''remote monitoring'' will not work. Nor will the email feature when movement is detected. So it is pretty useless to me as a security system for a business. Q See's tech support says this is because of ''port forwarding'' not being available on my current modem and router. That is why I advise you to check with Q See before buying if you require remote monitoring. I would try to return it, but I paid a professional $250 to run the cables and install the cameras.

Good product for the price
Setup is a little confusing. You have to be quite computer literate. I'm not. I e-mailed for suport at Q-see and was astounded at the great support. Tech. I talked to was,John-Paul Wenghler and he was great. He e-mailed me and even called me at one point. I'm able to hook-up and operate locally but, I still have to try it at a remote location. I'm sure it will operate good. If not, I know John-Paul would be happy to help. John C.
