This is a very good deal for what you get. Great speed on everything from Office to video games. I hooked it up with 512 MB PC2700 and a Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB, and it runs like a dream. I’ve been running Neverwinter Nights on full graphics mode in 1024x768 and have yet to experience ANY slow framerates. And, with the 5000RPM Speeze - Socket A Cooling Fan (up to XP 2800+) and only 1 case fan, the hottest it has ever reached is 42 degrees (even during gameplay!!)
This is a GREAT setup for casual to fairly frequent gamers. Paired with a good video card and a decent amount of RAM, this is a very nice gaming rig.
BIOS has some nice features. I have it set to automatically shut off all power if the processor temp gets above 85. And this motherboard is an overclocker’s dream…...it is incredibly easy to do.
I’d highly recommend this motherboard to anybody who is interested in upgrading. Definitely an incredible deal.
