Good buy for the 'just need a decent TV' crowd
My 3 year old Plasma just blew up-- so I need a TV fast to keep peace in the home. I wanted to get something with a better life expectancy in an LED and I like LG products. This unit fit the bill for price and size. I'm not a big tech. person--and it was very easy to set up and get working. I have seen better picture quality--but it is still very good.

Good TV
Picture is great. But you should turn off the LEDs power save, to get the full bright of LEDs. If it is not, LEDs will be dime after couple minutes running. (My experience)

Excellent value and quality
I bought this product for the exercise room and was looking for something large but not necessarily something full of features. I locked in on this model because of the price, slim design and hopefully picture quality. I received it quickly (at least by freight standards) and set it up. Easy and inituitive. Didn't even need the instruction manual. Connected the smart blue ray player and cable and was very surprised at the picture quality. Clear, sharp, bright and the blacks were very black. The only drawback is that the sound is not that great but I connected it to the entertainment system so I didn't care.
