For the price it is very good value
This is my third Gateway laptop in 12 years and the way this one is going I will keep buying them. This was the only laptop in this price range that had a blu ray player. I travel a lot and like to bring movies with me so this worked out well. It is fast, responsive and doesn't have a cheap feel like some others I looked at in retail stores at this price range. The only real negative is the speakers as you really need headphones or a USB speaker system to really get any type of decent sound of it. I just plug in a high quality headphone set and away I go. I highly recommend this laptop.

The price is right but the speakers are not
Lightweight, good looking, and has all of the features I want in a personal laptop... except the speakers. No sense in having a really nice blu-ray player if you struggle to hear the tinny, low-volume sound.
