Lower your expectations
AT 89.99 it fails horribly. Not a good unit. customer suppport gets FFFF. Picture gets a C. Performance gets a D. Time slip works. Navigation muddled. Installs easily. Detects all the annalog cable channels and 12 fm stations. Seems to require a strong cable signal.

Good product but a lilttle pricey
I found the USB Tuner to be a good product. However my use is only a small part of it's advertised features so I can't attest to its overall capabilities. I do wish it had an automatic but setable timer to shut it off.

Confused
Works to stream live TV in Windows 7 if I use Windows Live Media, but signal is slow. Signal is fine if I use the AVERMedia software, but it won't work in 64 bit mode and thus won't let me use two monitors. So I can have stop and start TV on two monitors or good signal in the background of the monitor I'm working on. Not really happy but it is more about the software from Avermedia than the device itself.

Few Problems With This Product
Works flawlessly on Windows XP and Linux Mint 10. The Media Center software for Windows is more than a bit clunky, but VLC will provide a better interface. For LM10, driver installation, setup and use is drop dead simple using Kaffeine.

Works just fine
Works exactly as advertised. The Avermedia Center software is kindof basic and klutzy, but very functional - certainly a lot better than WMC or SageTV, i.e. it is perfect for those who like to be in control, rather than having the software control the user. I had it installed, up and running on a Win7 64-bit system within a few minutes. The rabbit ears antenna is a bad joke; when fully extended, it is about 3 inches tall and it pulls in two channels (out of 28). Overall, it's good value for the money. I would buy it again.
