My favourite pointing device
I've been using this product for over three years now. Since I've been using the Cordless Optical Trackman, a mouse feels useless. The driver software that comes with it lets you customize what each button does for each application you use. I use it for editing audio so I set my buttons for the functions I use the most. It makes editing very efficient.

Best Trackman Ever
This is my 2nd one of this same model. I used the first one for six years and wore it out. This one is better than the first one. I love it. I just hope it is still available when I wear this one out.

Nice but didn't last
May be fine for a desktop but if you're carrying this around in your backpack the finish starts coming off and gunking up the ball and the cord comes off the receiver because there's no molding or strength where it goes in. First one lasted about three months. Problem is, there's no comparison when it comes to ergonomics and button features - I just had to have it so I got another one. This time I taped it up with electrical tape when I got it, maybe it will last longer.

The best trackball on the market
This is by far the best trackball on the market. The only issue I have with it is Logitech's refusal to update it to using a unifying receiver. The included dongle is great for desktop applications but really sucks for those of us that use it with laptops and are mobile. You end up having to buy a new one more often than you should because the dongle will eventually short out.
