I have just made my 3rd DVD from this camcorder... It is the best camcorder that I have ever owned... The quality is very rich and good... For the money one cannot top this camcorder...I would recommend it to anyone that is in the buy for and excellent camcorder...

This is the best quality camcorder that I have found. There are some other ones out there that are good, but in my opinion, the JVC is the best in all categories. I have had mine for a few weeks now, and I have used the heck out of it. It makes beautiful movies with ease. I love the backlight for use in the dark. Easy scroll controls so you don't have to touch your screen. It fits in one hand perfectly. *****

After several weeks of looking at the Sony and
cannon camcorders and the JVC and reading all the reviews i could find the JVC won out with the best of every thing.You may find a better deal and better features with a hi def. camcorder if you have the equitment and software to run it with but for my needs and price range the JVC is the winner. I could go on about the comparison's and difference's about the three of them but if you are intrestred in a camcorder you'll have to select the one that is right for you. The thing that I like most about it is the 30 gig hard drive and optional sd card where cannon does not offer one in standard mode and i did not look to much at the sony's since I have been burnt to many times by sony price and quaility

I've had this camcorder for a week now and it's great. It runs for a long time and the picture is excellent. Best of all there are no tapes or dvd's to mess with, it's all mpg2 video files on the hard drive ready to go right to the computer or edit and make your own dvd.
