Featuring a powerful socket 1156 Quad-Core X3440 Xeon processor which clocks in at 2.53MHz and holds a whopping 8 Megs of cache. Intels hyperthreading technology allows your applications to utilize 8 threads providing 8 seperate pathways to the processor meaning faster processes when utilizing multi-threaded applications.

While the processor is the most important component for performance when we're talking about a server, the board is the most important component for reliability. In this server we're utilizing the Supermicro X8SIE motherboard. Supermicro is one of the most recognized names in servers for a reason.
