The product is clean and uncluttered and very simple to use. I highly recommend downloading the latest drivers from the Genius website, insure you have the correct series, M-712, install it befor use. I use Windows XP with Adobe apps and the tablet functions flawlessly. The hold over is excellent and tracks accurately. Pen pressure sensitivity is good compared to a Wacom unit which in all fairness has a higher range. The pen has two programmable buttons. Some users may find the pen to be a bit bulky I compare it a graphic marker. I do not miss the pen tilt or erase features of a Wacom as I prefer not to loosen or release my grip. Windows users can make adjusts in Control Panel/Pen Tablet. Quick keys are easily programmed in the MacroKey app and come in handy. Tablet response is excellent and accurate. For new users of tablets in general, the pen is sensitive don't push hard, settings are key to customization. I am a designer with 18 years of experience with technical and graphic design
Great price for a good product!

I previously owned a very, very small Wacom Graphire tablet. When this Genius tablet arrived, I immediately uninstalled the Wacom tablet and installed this new tablet. There were no problems whatsoever and the tablet works very well. This large tablet is awesome for all the graphics work I do... digital painting and photography... installation was a piece of cake, and the included software was a really nice bonus!
In short, great tablet for the price and the size is awesome for serious graphics work!

This is a terrible piece of merchandise and the Genius company is worse. I got one for Christmas (notice how it's nearly March and I'm still complaining) and the first one didn't work at all. So I tried to return it, turns out I can't. Waste of money. So I go through Genius to exchange it. They FINALLY send me a new one after having to complain that I sent it to them and never got anything in return. Scam? Practically. So I finally just got the new one (2 weeks delay on my part but not my complaint) and it sucks. 95% of the tablet works. Which means when I'm trying to draw, write, or anything on one section of the tablet/computer it goes crazy and starts making drawing like a heart monitor. Therefore I can't use it at all in that section which limits me completely and is absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER buy Genius again and will always recommend against them.

First tablet I've ever owned. And it works great, I've used other people's tablets before, but this one seems to be more responsive than those. The features are helpful, since it comes with the ability to scroll, zoom, and control your volume right from the tablet. So I don't have to switch from mouse to tablet, or click on lots of things with my tablet pen to get it to do stuff. And it's really simple to install!

I've not yet tried to run the tablet in Windows or my Mac, but the features are annoying, not difficult, to set up. Wacom has much better support from Linux users. If you don't need a huge tablet, don't buy one, else you'll be conducting an orchestra.
