This adapter works great I have a very strong signal at 290mbps. It out performed the the other n adapter on my other computer so much that I bought another one to replace the other one(it wont let me name the other on but it starts with a b and ends in kin). Overall a great purchase. I recommend it to anyone wanting to go wireless or to just upgrade. It was very simple to install.

This product is a piece of junk. I do networking for a living and this is one of the worst adapters I have ever seen.
I had bit of trouble getting it installed, but once I did I soon found the signal on this thing was terrible. I tired 3 different drives from 64 vista drivers to ralink and still the issue persisted on Windows 7 64 bit. I could never get higher than a 80% signal in a room where the router and adapter were only ten feet apart in the same room.
I tried with 3 different routers including a newer linksys dual band router and still the same issue. So the problem resides in the adapter which is junk.

With Windows 7 you have to use the windows 7 networking program to make the adapter work but have the cd in the cd-rom to get the drives for it to work. My mother in-law built a new desk top with windows 7 in it. She tried all night and day to get it to work and I had it working without talking to linksys. It does it with windows xp as well.
Easy to install and works great

This is my first wireless router and adapter. Installation is very easy and user friendly. I use it on XP systems. Don't forget to update the driver at their website or after a week you will lose the connection and windows will fail to recognize the adapter. At that point you MUST completely remove the Linksys software and reinstall with the updated driver. Reinstalling the software without deleting it first and rebooting will do absolutely nothing. Unfortunately some of the techs at Linksys don't understand this concept. Excellent product. Gives maximum signal strength even though it is located on another floor than the router. Highly recommend this product.

I am running Windows 7 on my computer and the software for this product won't load. Per Linksys technical support there is a major bug in the software that at this time they can't fix. In the past I have been very pleased with Linksys products but I have my doubts at this time.

I have had this since X-mas to compliment the WRT610 Dual band router. Overall I have been happy with the deivce, it works as intented and has kept a stable internet connection the entire time. I have had 0 problems with the unit. I will point out that for some reason my 5.8 Signal is weaker than the 2.4. Not sure why that is, but consistantly shows 270mb connection with the router. NOTE: If you are a windows 7 64 bit user, make sure you have version 2 of this adapter. Version 2 is the black cisco labeled unit.

driver for windows 7 not on disk - challenge to find right driver on Linksys web. After PC wakes up, code 43 adaptor not working - have to reinsert adaptor in USB port - then works ok - works great when operational. At that price should be no glitches.

Had no fun trying to install this on a new Windows 7 install that didn't have Internet connection already. Even though I downloaded the newest drivers to a flash drive, this thing would not load. Loaded fine on an existing Windows 7 box, so I figured it had to be the OS. Had to move the new W7 box to a wired connection, update Windows, and then it worked like a charm.
