The new ECS A740GM-M (V1.0) AMD 740G AM2+ motherboard offers extreme performance

or business PC. Based on the AMD 740G/AMD SB700 chipset, the ECS A740GM-M is
designed for AMD’s Phenom (Socket AM2+), Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core, Athlon
64, and Sempron processors with 2000, 1600, 1200 mega-transfers per second FSB.
This affordable Micro-ATX platform boasts an AMD 740G with 2D/3D graphic engine
& integrated DirectX 9 graphics processor, and supports dual-channel DDR2
800/667/533/400 DDR2 SDRAM memory, PCI x16/x1, SATA 3.Gb/s, RAID0, RAID1, RAID10,

Can't complain about a good deal
I bought this for a computer I was throwing together with spare parts. So far, I have had no issues for this past month or so and am very pleased. It's not top of the line but if you need a comp and you don't want to pay much, I reccommend this workhorse. No BIOS work needed for operation either. Just know the low price is a product of the lack of features rather than the lack of quality

only worked two weeks, hd went with the board, ecs dragging there feet on replacment, best spend an extra 20 and move up

Had this MB for 4 months. Both memory sockets and two SATA connectors simply fell apart. I'm an experienced kit builder and I've never seen an MB fall apart like this. Limited functionality is fine, since I know about it beforehand, but poor quality is unacceptable.

Great price with good features. Upgraded a system with this board and an Athlon X2 5200+. Great speed for the money. Did have trouble geeting it to post the first time - my fault because I didn't hook up the 4 pin 12 volt ''case auxilary power'' connector. Hadn't seen this in other systems and incorrectly assumed it wasn't needed. Processor didn't like not having it!

Great MB! No problems whatsoever, would buy again for sure, only flaw I see is that it only holds 2 sticks of RAM, but that's expected for this range of a board.
