Enhanced Theatrical Experience™ is our term for higher-quality audio available out-of-the-box with the X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema soundcard. The upgrade provides improved sound quality by reducing the loss or distortion when using the analog outputs.
DTS Digital Surround® is the sound format found in movie theaters. The Auzen X-Plosion 7.1 turns your PC into a DTS-Connect enabled PC capable of playing full surround sound from DTS-enabled movies, music videos, music discs, and games, as well as providing surround sound from normal stereo sources.
Dolby® Digital Live, a real-time encoding technology, converts any audio signal into a Dolby® Digital bit stream for transport and playback through a home theater system. With it, your PC or game console can be hooked up to your Dolby® Digital-equipped audio/video receiver or digital speaker system via a single digital connection, ensuring the integrity of the audio signal.

LINE IN (3.5mm Stereo mini jack):
Connects to external analog line-level sources, such as CD players, MP3
players, MD players, cassette players, TV card's internal line output, any
analog stereo output devices.

MIC IN (3.5mm Stereo mini jack):
Connects to external condenser or dynamic microphone for voice input. Special
two OPAMP controlled preamp circuits on board provides increased MIC input
gain and improvement of SNR quality.

FRONT (3.5mm Stereo mini jack):
Connects to Front Left/Right inputs on powered analog speakers, an external
amplifier or headphones.

SIDE SURROUND (REAR / 3.5mm Stereo
mini jack): Connects to Rear Left/Right inputs on powered multichannel analog
speakers, an external multichannel amplifier in 4, 5.1 and 7.1 channel analog
playback modes.

BACK SOURROUND (REAR CENTER /
3.5mm Stereo mini jack): Connects Rear Center 1 / 2 inputs on powered
multichannel analog speakers, an external multichannel amplifier in 7.1
channel analog playback modes.

CENTER/S.WOOFER (3.5mm Stereo mini
jack): Connects to Front Center and Sub-Woofer inputs on powered multichannel
analog speakers, an external multichannel amplifier in 5.1 or 7.1 channel
analog playback modes.

COAXIAL OUTPUT (SPDIF COAXIAL
Digital Output, Gold Plated RCA Jack): Connects to external digital devices
(e.g. AV receivers, decoders or digital speaker systems). Coaxial (75 Ohms)
SPDIF output transmits pure PCM digital audio at resolutions of
16-bit/44.1kHz, 16-bit/48kHz, and 24-bit/96 kHz sampling rates. Also, allows
passthrough of Non-PCM Dolby Digital and DTS stream to external DD/DTS
decoders and A/V receivers.

OPTICAL OUTPUT (SPDIF OPTICAL
Digital Output, TOSLINK connector): Connects to external digital devices such
as AV receivers, decoders or digital speaker systems. High quality TOSLINK
Optical SPDIF output transmits pure PCM digital audio at resolutions of
16-bit/44.1kHz, 16-bit/48kHz and 24-bit/96kHz sampling rates. Also allows
pass-through of Non-PCM Dolby Digital and DTS stream to external DD/DTS
decoder and A/V receivers.

i just bought 2 days ago and i just put my logitech z 5500 voice and bass is just bomb
i would say if u guys need new sound card for computer buy this |

Easy setup on dual boot 32-bit XpPro and Vista Ultimate, did download latest drivers though so don't know about drivers on cd. Blows the doors off of onboard sound in games, movies, and music (most stereos and surround systems aren't this good either). Have tested it with BOSE 2.1, Logitech 5.1's, and into a Yamaha DTS Surround system through optical fiber or digital coax. Card does everything it claims (tried hard to find something wrong with it but couldn't, dang, I could get used to this).
