X-Wind High Performance CPU Cooler
As computer processors become more and more powerful, they typically generate
more heat. Accordingly, air cooling solutions for processors tend to be large,
heavy and loud. Ultra's X-Wind CPU coolers offer a balance of performance and
price without being excessively loud or cumbersome. Because the X-Wind has several
fins (as many as 120!), there is more surface area than a typical machined heatsink,
so heat is effectively pulled away from the CPU and quickly dissipated. X-Wind's
design allows for the use of a larger, quieter fan to push air in between the
many fins. If you're disappointed with the noise from your current CPU cooler,
fed up with higher temperatures or concerned that your behemoth two pound heatsink

I am realitively happy with this cooling fan. It works great and is much quieter than my last one, but it was hard to install. There are no screws attaching it to the motherboard; rather just some plastic pegs. I am constently worried that the fan is going to fall off because it didn't screw on, but so far so good. |

I purchased this fan for my first cpu build and it looks and works amazing, keeps my cpu cool about 20 degrees C along with my other 3 fans in my tower. Only thing I didnt care for was the plastic mounts, but for the price, they work well to secure the to the mobo. Overall great product and price |

I had problems installing the base as well. thought I was going to bust the mobo with the force I had to use to seat the things, and very little instruction included. other than that, keeps the cpu running around 120'. |

Fan works great but the amount of force needed to seat the pins is quite scary. No other problems with this fan noise levels are good. |

Fan works well, the problem was with the installation. Not much room to get these fingers in there. I was concerned for my mobo with the pressure I had to apply. |
