The retractable feature is nice. However you get a lot of noise when recording with the microphone (annoying 60Hz hum). Get the Logitech headset instead which has better noise reduction and is more comfortable (Logitech Internet Chat Headset w/Volume Control). The logitech is only $5 more but well worth the extra money.
