2 sticks of 6 were defective
After two days of determining that my mobo build problem was probably memory related it took another half day to isolate the bad sticks. Then I remembered that I had some leftover Crucial memory. I yanked the Corsair and went with the Crucial. System came right up.

Vengeance Series
For the money you pay for this, you can NOT get a better deal. This is great for overclocking. Had them in for about three weeks and have not had one glinch yet. You can not beat lifetime warrentee. Cons - None that I see as of yet.

Awesome
My motherboard supports 32 gigs of ram, but that would require four 8 gig sticks; making a total of 700 dollars. So I went with this option instead of maxing my memory later; I realized it only takes 4 sticks so with 16 gigs it still dominates no lag, no problems. With two spare sticks of ram I'll save them for later or back up.

You Can Never Have Too Much RAM
Accepts moderate overclocking and works well in the Gigabyte G1 series motherboards. Quite happy with it and I can remember spending more than this for just 2 GB of RAM. Running some select games from a RAM Drive, just because I can!
