I bought 4gigs about 2 years ago, I installed them in 2 computers and all is still working without any problems so far. One review says it did not work in his Toshiba Satellite. Sorry your mistake, This is NOT intended for your laptop.

I took out the 2 - 512M, inserted 2 - 1G, rebooted, works perfectly in a 5 year old HP pavilion. Will buy more for my kids computers

Didn't work in my Toshiba Satellite A30. Now I'm stuck with extra shipping costs to ship it back.
