Such an extended life profile also helps cut down on the amount of eWaste polluting the environment, as well as the costs associated with disposing of old computers and electronic components
Operating costs for the “green” Xi3 Modular Computer are also significantly lower than other desktop computers.
Specifically, although it utilizes a 64-bit 1.8GHz dual-core processor, the Xi3 Modular Computer needs a very ecofriendly 20 Watts of electricity to operate. By comparison, most dual-core desktop computers require at least 100 Watts, while some need as much as 400 Watts to operate. In other words, Xi3 Modular Computer users are seeing electricity use savings of 80 percent or more—clearly a substantial decrease in energy usage, while also providing additional benefits to the environment.

How about six USB 2.0 ports, two SATA ports, three reconfigurable audio ports, and a 1Gb Ethernet port. Power-wise, the Xi3 Modular Computer runs at 3Amps 19Vdc (with a range of 12-24Vdc).
All of this is combined into the elegantly designed Xi3 Modular Computer metal chassis to produce a powerful machine small enough to sit on the palm of your hand. For example, for organizations where space is at a premium, the Xi3 Modular Computer not only starts with a tiny cube-like chassis measuring 4-inches or less per side and weighing less than two pounds, but its design means the Xi3 Modular Computer can be mounted or attached to virtually any flat surface.
Specifically, by using Xi3’s custom mounting brackets, Xi3 Modular Computers can be mounted under a desk or table, on the back of a computer display/monitor, onto a wall or ceiling, or even attached to a vehicle fuselage or incorporated into a larger system.
Last but not least, the casing of the Xi3 Modular Computer is also replaceable, with seven different color casings available today. Customizable colors are also available, as is the ability to etch a company logo or name directly onto the chassis itself.
