Most buttons generate unique keyboard events which can be programmed in mythtv setup. This device acts as a keyboard and a mouse. This may conflict if you have 2. You may have to manually edit xorg conf and list 2 keyboards using device id if this is the case. |

This isn't a bad product, my only complaint is that windows installs it as a keyboard USB device and not an IR device. Works OK with Windows Media Center, but ran into some issues when configuring the TV Tuner, it attempts to detect an IR device and cannot detect this remote (being a keyboard). |

Although vastly cheaper than some other alternatives my only qualm with the Adesso remote is with the price, it is only a remote control after all it shouldn't be this expensive.
However the small pricing moan aside this is a fantastic product. It does everything you want and more. I have Vista and it works with almost every program making lazy computer browser a breeze from across the room.
Great with a whole host of different software packages the remote is at its best when working with Media Center, these together really shine a new light on the PC as a complete media package.
Recommended for any Media Center user. |

My husband bought this to control our home theater pc. It works great!
I have a 2 yr old who is not easy on remotes, and this one is durable!
The only flaw I find is that pointer control is a little slow, but for the price, this is great! |

Remote does not turn pc on. Major flaw, should of spent more money to get more quality and features. |

The product look fine but the performance is really bad. The manufacturer does not have support for this product. There are no drivers available for this product.
It has very bad reviews online. |

I got this after my dog ate the remote that came with my tuner card, now I'm not mad at the dog anymore. This thing is great.
It puts the PC into the HTPC since now I can control everything with the remote.
Using it with Vista 64 and all I had to do was plug it in and it was working. |
