This thing works like a charm, keeps my Q9600 at 23C idle. Very good fan, and the blue LED looks pretty sick as well. Getting it on was a challenge, as I thought I was going to break the freeking GPU. But after some fighting everything was ok. |

I had a bit of trouble trying to get the metal bracket to fir for my old P4 478 socket, I had to us a cutting dremel tool to becaust the braket for 1/10 of mm off but once I got it installed it works great and looks good, really brought the temps down |

Overall, great fan looks great works great. There are however some downsides. In the unit I got the fan was oriented too far to the left side...as in when I booted up the computer it started grinding on the copper fins. It's still extremely close almost touching the left side and there is a large gap on the right side. Mounting the fan is a bit of a pain being that it has a back plate and the screws are a bit hard to access. In the end despite my two minor complaints the truth is it works, runs great, and looks even better. Oh and did I mention this is $20 cheaper than the one I saw in another store!! Thanks TigerDirect! |

Great cooling and nice blue led fan. Works awesome on my AMD Athlon 64 x2 processor. Did a mild over-clock from 3.1 to 3.39 and processor is @ 29 degrees celcuis, even while playing Crysis and Crysis Wars/Warhead. Definately a good buy for the great cooling it offers. |

I have a 775 Pentium D 940 (3.2GHz) which runs hot. I always flirted with the top end of 70C with standard cooler. New cooler I run at 42C. It is well designed and built although a bit pricey. Be aware that this fan runs off a separate speed controller and is not controlled by the mobo. I adjusted it to the slowest, but still runs at 1425 rpm which I still consider fast although silent. It comes with low grade thermal grease (1.2 WmK) and I suggest buying up if you normally run hot. Masscool gel has the best numbers (7.5 WmK). |
