Fast & Quiet!
I got this drive to replace a WD 120gig drive that was obnoxiously loud and irritating. Installation was a snap using the Acronis True Image WD Edition software available free online. Now, my keyboard is the loudest thing!

Excellent legacy drive for the money!
Bought this drive from to replace a marginal drive that I'd had as my secondary drive in 2 computers since 2002. Installation was a breeze, no problems such as those cited by other reviewers. The drive is attached to a secondary EIDE controller in my system. Installed the drive in place of the old one. I'd previously copied all the data from that drive to my external backup drive. Started the system ran disk mgt to create a partition & quick format the drive, copied the data to the new drive from ext backup, all done. Very quiet drive, and performs as I expected. Highly recommend for those needing an EIDE drive!

WD Blue 160
Good product, fair price, quiet, not very fast, but, works very well with an older system. Have been using WD drives for a long time, don't remember ever any problem. If you need an EIDE drive, don't be afraid to get this one.
