I bought this TV with a recent sale at Tiger, and it's a great value. Hung it in my office as I now want ALL my TV's to have HD. I like it. Not a ton of frills, but looks cool, good picture. The only down side is the speaker is weak so you need to turn up the volume, but that is not a big deal for the price. I would buy it again... |

most of the reviews seemed to be a bit old, so thought I would add a fresh one. I bought this tv last week. It was easy to set up. I get HD from sat and is great picture, no dead pixels. Perfect for average size bedroom. No complaints here. I have bought two HDTV's from Tiger Direct (the other is Toshiba 32''-yay), and would not go anywhere else. Greatest Price, Greatest Service, Greatest Warranties. |

Nice TV easy to setup, stand a little wobbly.
Poor viewing angle. Got it for a great price.
Problem was it had one red pixel almost in center and one dead pixel about 4'' to the left of it. I read several reviews about having bad pixels right out of the box! I thought it would not happen to me. Wrong! I sent my set right back with its dead pixels. I'm not spending $300 for a tv with bad pixels from the get go.
With all the reviews I read about the bad pixels I really wish I could give it a (-5) for quality!
I never heard of such a thing! What ever happened to quality control?
Otherwise a pretty nice set for the $$ if it did not have any fried pixels!
For $50 more I picked up a Vizio 22'' which has 2 HDMI inputs and no fried pixels!

Just purchased this 23'' for my parents' kitchen area. With Comcast, easy setup feature for channel selection. Beautiful picture with easy controls. Buttons on remote could be larger and easier to view for my parents, but OK.
Quality finish and look. Lots of std audio selections. Base could be heavier but will do.
This is my second LCD TV purchase from Tiger and with the 30 day garantee, it was and is a no-brainer. Even if it had bad pixels, I could return it without getting the mfg warranty involved. I plan on getting a Toshiba for me real soon. |

I have had the TV for about a month now and I could not be more satisfied. I really like the ATSC QAM tuner. I am hooked to cable and the tuner receives all the local digital high definition channels without a box. These channels are clear (not scrambled) on the cable system. I had no problem setting it up and the hand unit is very well laid out. Although it is not a major brand, I would still defiantly recommend this TV. |

I've had TV 2 weeks and am very happy with purchase.Bright,sharp picture with DirectTV HD source.Only downside is weak speakers and no varible audio output.No bad pixles on my unit.I run audio thru a Logitech Z-5500 5.1 surround.Makes a nice little system for our den. |

I have three LCD TVs, but this one is real HDTV with built-in ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner. I can watch 11 HD channels with an outdoor antenna. Great picture. Great deal with the price. |

I originally purchased this TV from another store when it was on sale like it used to be here on Tiger Direct. That model had a stuck pixel though so I returned it, they had no more in stock at that point though so I wasn't able to get another one. I was happy to see that Tiger Direct still had some in stock, although the sale was over the price Tiger Direct is offering for this TV even at full price is a terrific deal. I received my TV and very happy that there were no stuck or dead pixels. This is a great TV for the price and for the features you get. Makes a great bedroom TV especially. If you want a small LCD TV, but feel the 19 and 20 inch models are a bit to small this one is the way to go. I find the color to be outstanding and everything is very easy to use. |

Beware that you CANNOT have both a yellow composit video cable AND a S-Video plugged in at the same time, it will overheat and destroy the unit. I made this mistake. Afterwards I read the users manual (yes I am a man) and read the warning clearly states in there that it is an EITHER OR thing. The picture is really nice and you can output the sound to your high powered amplifier receiver with the Coaxial SPDIF Out. I am pretty impressed. The remote is lame and the speakers wimpy, but like I said, you can output the sound to an amp. For the price this is a fantastic deal. Nice picture. |

I purchased the Sceptre based on its contrast ratio, brightness and cost. I'm most pleased with the cost. The contrast is difficult to adjust to a pleasing level, as is the brightness. The remote is a bit small, and the buttons a bit close together for my mature fingers. I was also disappointed by the lack of a headphone out. The set appears to do noticeably better on HD than on SD content. I have it connected to a HD Sat Box, and also pull local HD off the air. All in all, I got about what I paid for. I probably would spend a bit more next time for a 1st or 2nd tier brand. |
