The Best Sata drive dock on the market
I have tried many others that were on sale, or at swamp meet promo prices, but none of them are as good and reliable as this Thermaltake dock. I now own 4 of the USB, and 2 of the Esata models

Good for transfers
While I would have preferred a firewire-based dock which would have been bootable, this one gave me the ability to transfer files to a new disk I had installed.Overall a good deal.

Works flawlessly
Could not possibly have been easier to set up and use. Tooks me all of 2 minutes and had my hard drive from my recently defuncy computer purring like a kitten and spitting out all of my data like it was meant to. I don't know what the folks that are having trouble with theirs are doing wrong, but mine works fine.

Don't buy
I bought this item and it doesn't work on my HP laptop. I tryed it on a Toshiba and it didn't work on that machine either. I asked questions on line befor before I bought this device as I needed one to do both SATA and IED docking. This one only does SATA.

awesome
best investment i made i do alot of backups and testing an wiping sata drives and this box works just awesome even read a few drives that were otherwise unreadable.
