This review is mostly in response to the person whom purchased this ''crappy'' mo-bo combo w/ dual core. Hey you couldnt read the specs and check the expandability of this board BEFORE you went to the checkout, you get exactly what you pay for. This board is retailing around $50 by itself and that isn't bad at all for the 610i chipset if you check other boards you would see that. I have been building with ECS boards for 4 years now and I have never had any problems with any of them, or their expandability but, there too I check the specs.. you get what you pay for and ECS produces a Quality product for any application.. you just have to know what you are buying and instead of clicking BUY NOW you should have clicked MORE INFO ... and if you couldnt see that it only had 2 DIMM slots in the photo then maybe you shouldnt be building systems.. thats just my opinon :)

This came bundled with a Core 2 Duo E8400 that I purchased back in June for a build. This board has very limited expandability. I cannot upgrade the RAM any further, and the processor can only be upgraded to the E8500 or E8600, which are not worth the money when upgrading from the E8400 The RAM can only reach 800Mhz when overclocked. Also, the board only supports up to Core 2 Duo. The integrated graphics run Half Life 2 just fine, but lag on portal. There is no gigabit LAN. The onboard audio sounds hideous. Until I get a new motherboard, my computer's expandability is very limited. One thing I like, though, is that the BIOS is good for the mild overclocker. You can easily tinker with RAM, FSB, etc. My build: ECS Elitegroup GF7050VT-M piece of crap motherboard C2D E8400 @ 3.0Ghz (for now) 500GB Maxtor HDD 4GB Patriot DDR2 667 integrated GeForce 7050 graphics RaidMax 380w power supply All this with almost no room for expansion as long as I have this board
