I have had this cpu for over a year i put a extra 2 gig of ram and a 512mb Geforce 8600 GT.
I love my cpu. Better than to Del* And i owned two of those. Did get rid of stupid vista and intalled xp. Vista is weak for gameplay. |

Not bad for a pc i got from walmart. am currently trying to upgrade though, graphics good for basic functions but not the greatest for games or video editing. definately needs RAM, video card, and maybe a processor upgrade, as for harddrive, just added an external and works fine. good for cheap basic computer. |

this machine is great i put 4 gigs in it and nvidia 8600 gt but when i was going to put a duel core in im not sure what type of duel core i need for it can anyone help |

After reading posted reviews I went ahead and bought this system but am very disappointed. I did install an extra gig of RAM but it is extremely slow with graphic display. Multitasking? Forget it! My last system, also from Tiger Direct and 4 or 5 years old, was actually faster, but I was running Windows XP. I am thinking about going back to XP and hopefully this will help my performance, which is unliveable with right now. |

what do you expect? 500 hundy with monitor. will not play games at full settings but perfect for that extra internet machine. |

I've had mine almost a year with no problems, I'm runnin almost 400mb for video and so far it will play the latest games ( Battlefield 2 and 2142 and COD 4) with no problems great product, but the speakers suck. |

This was an excellent purchase. It is a smooth machine. Its unfortunate that someone before me posted a poor review stating ''the monitor stinks'' because it has only a VGA input and to basically upgrade everything ... well for one you can see in the description of the PC that it only supports VGA. Great performance. Atx case is built nice and the setup of this PC was very smooth. Cannot ask for more in a budget buy like this way worth it. This system is very easy to upgrade also. |

i've had this since 2nd week of jan and must say it is a decent machine for the price. for the first timer is an excellent machine but my advice is at the very least get an extra gig of ram because vista
is a resource hog and the onboard graphics steals 256 Megs of memory from you. other than that i recommend a vid card and in my case i need a much larger hard disk. |

Okay, if I were to go into details, replace the processor to an Athlon X2, get another or bigger hard drive, a video card, and definitely more memory. Sadly, the monitor stinks, only has VGA, no DVI, and doesn't perform like any cheap Core 2 Duo Desktop here, don't buy this if you want cheap price-great performance. A Pentium D 925 is better (at least), but Core 2 Duo is the best |
