Customer Reviews
I went out on a limb and bought this thing, having never dealt with Acer before. I can't complain a bit about it. We were replacing a Dell that never really worked right from day 1. First thing is just go ahead and double the RAM before you even start it up. It's cheap and makes all the difference in the world. Once I did that, This laptop has served as our telephone on skype, handles video calling well, connects well with the wireless, and is fast and problem-free. We haven't even had any problems with Vista. For a good, solid, versatile home computer, This one's hard to beat.
Still not a big fan of windows and all it's bells and whistles... Vista really slows the performance of this machine... way to much crap running in the back ground! Other than that it is a great value and maybe the US computer manufactures can take some notes from the Chinese... like the US auto industry did with Japan in the 70's and 80's!
