This thing is great. super fast, and easy to use. works great with vista, booted up great the first time and didnt have update a thing. havent tried lightscribe yet but will soon.

Great optical drive for a low price. I had no probs yet. Updated the firmware bios for it and it works perfectly. Comes with nero6 and its easy to use. I'd recommend buying this drive

I had this drive for 4 months now and no problems yet,I don't know why so many people are giving it a bad review, maybe try updating the firmware.

Bought it, installed for about a week now. Burns cd's really fast. I use windows to burn them, no other third party software. But it doesn't read DVD-Rs, even after all updates to firmware. That makes it practically unusable to me. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Samsung offers little to no support.
