Almost too Good to be True

Grand Kids are now required to have laptops or Ipads with them at school and required to do powerpoint presentations in class etc. These units are great, they are quite quick with low response times between programs and when tested run quite cool too. My four grand kids love them and now they all do all their homework on them. It has System 7 Pro 64 bit meaning you can increase RAM up to 8 Gb furthering enhancing performance and if you wish you can also set up XP Mode and Virtual PC to run older programs meant for XP operating system. If you subtract the operating system cost, you are getting the laptop itself for 150 dollars, almost too good to be true. I have set up five of these in the last couple months, four for grandkids and one for a neighbor that blew up his laptop. In all instances these performed admirably and are a great value for the cost involved.

This was my first laptop purchase, I did a lot of reading before deciding on this model. I feel like I got a good deal, it had the specs I wanted and everyone said it's durable and has a good keyboard, I like it very much so far. It's heavier than I thought it would be but I don't have anything to compare it to. Got a nice rolling backpack to carry it in. Everything seems to work perfectly, the only glitch I had was the scrolling function on the touchpad, I had to go to the manufacturer's web site and download the UltraNav drivers for it, now it works fine. I was nervous buying this refurbished so I got the 2 year square trade warranty. Was impressed with the condition of the laptop when it arrived though, it was super clean and looked like new. Runs great, very very fast, have tried it on a cable, on wi-fi, plugged in and on batteries, all fine. It only got a little extra warm the first time I used it, I think because the battery was charging.

My daughter Loves it!

Bought this as a graduation present. My daughter is very happy with it. Only thing she wishes is that it had a camera, other then that she loves it. Especially the fingerprint reader. She has been glue to the thing since she got it. Trusted name, Boots quickly, 64 bit win professional runs smoothly so far no complains, 4gb ddr3 ram and more can be added. Great machine! Sure there are newer faster computers with all the features, but for $300 dollars this is awesome. Computer arrived quickly and in good condition, battery life is about 3-4 hours. I will definitely recommend it!

Can't beat this IBM THinkpad at the price point. More than enough to surf the web, stream music, etc that a Mother would ever need. Package came shipped fast, and operated perfectly out of the box.
