Linkskey LKU-S04ASK KVM Switch
The Linkskey LKU-S04ASK Slim Palmtop USB KVM Switch is a 4-port compact USB KVM Switch with Audio and Mic switching function. The console USB allows you to use USB keyboard and mouse. Linkskey LKU-S04ASK gives you access, control, boot and reboot four USB-enabled multimedia computers with only one USB keyboard, one mouse, one monitor and optional speaker set and microphone.
Win-based Switching Software Support on PC
The Linkskey LKU-S04ASK also provides a Win-based Switching Software that shows you the current active PC and allows you to select PC as well as configure keyboard hotkeys. It appears as an icon on the system tray of your Window desktop, and will change its number icon upon switching to show the active PC port. Using this small client software, KVM users get the utmost convenience.
Audio and Microphone Switching Offers Uninterrupted Multimedia Experience
The audio and microphone switching function of Linkskey LKU-S04ASK allows you to leverage the multimedia systems on each of your computers. You can monitor the audio/mic input/output of each computer without plugging on and off the audio/mic cables. User can also choose to use either independent/simultaneous switching of both PC channel and audio/microphone channel for their maximum convenience. And it takes only one set of speaker and microphone instead of one set for each computer. Furthermore, it offers user-programmable simultaneous/independent PC and audio/mic switching function for flexible multimedia and KVM Switching operation.

Works for me
My old PS2 KVM switch didn't have a button-press method to switch computers. You had to press scroll-lock twice and then 1-4. I prefer buttons. This has scroll-lock too, but it just cycles, 1 then 2 then 3 then 4, so I don't use it. Haven't even installed the software so can't evaluate it.

Bad desing of the switch
I just spoke with their tech support and they confirmed it: The switch is design so that every single time you switch from one computer to the other, the computer you leave detects the keyboard and mouse as unplugging and the computer you go to detects it as NEW DEVICE! So every time you switch all computers beeps for nothing and you have to wait for the autodetec to install the mouse and keyboard and sometime you get stuck without the mouse or without the keyboard or bought. Terrible design I will get Trendnet like I already have and that works faster and better...

Very satisfied with this KVM. Set it up yesterday. Works well, no issues so far.

Works Great But Be Careful With Setup
The KVM switch works great and is easy to use. The switching software included on the CD makes it possible to switch without actually pushing the buttons. However, the location for the mouse and keyboard inputs are poorly marked and it is possible to get them reversed resulting in one or both keyboard and mouse not working. The sound worked fine on the first try. I did not try the microphone jack so cannot review that.

No Audio
Set up was easy - switched to each of my 4 computers easily - liked the hot-key use. But even when I contacted Linkskey there was no audio. Even bought new speakers. Went back to old KVM just to be sure that the speakers worked. Too bad - I think I just got a lemon because I have used these products before and liked them
