CMOS Color Outdoor Camera with Night Vision
Q-See outdoor cameras are built to withstand all the elements of nature. Rain, snow or hot sun will not deter the camera from sending clear video. The design of the camera incorporates a weatherproof metal casing with an "O" ring seal to keep the high resolution lens and the internal parts safe from nature.
With the 11 bright Infra Red LEDs that light up at night, the camera will give black and white night vision for upto 30 ft. in total darkness.With the 30-ft. cable that is included in the package, installing the camera is a breeze.
Use the camera to monitor an outdoor area or to watch areas where children play. Bird-watching and monitoring animals without intruding on them are all possible with the Q-See outdoor cameras. With additional cable you can even put the camera at a very long distance and still get clear video feeds.

Don't bother!
Very poor quality image. Dark image even in daylight. Night vision is horrible. For a Q-see I recommend at least a QOCDC or QSC48030 is even better.

Camera Color
The camera color is off real bad. More pink for some reason. I had to return 1 set, but the second set has the same problem. The grass would be green, but the plants would be pink. The garbage container was green (correct), but the grass was grey. I bought the same type cameras about 2 years ago and the color is find. These last ones do not have good picture quality. Not a good buy!

Great for Checking up on your house!
I bought these cameras along with the DVR to keep on eye on my flowers because someone was cutting the heads of them off.The color is kinda off but it looks the same if you were to go into a retail store and see yourself in the TV when you walk into the store. Great quality easy hook up. would defiantly buy again and recommend! Then night vision also go to about 30 feet but we have motion lights too so that helps a lot a night! Defiantly worth the investment. I would recommend buying more RCA cables we had to buy about 24 more feet of it.

Good start up camera
Fair Camera for the money, if you get a standalone DVR with it make sure you set the fps to the highest i.e. 30fps or higher for outside just because if the police ever needs a copy of the video it can be easier to enhance with more fps, and I noticed I got night glare from my garden lights, technically called Camera IR Reflection its not the cameras fault don't know how to get rid of the glare without removing the walk way lights, over all I give it a fair 6.5 out of 10.

These cameras are a good value based on the price vs. quality. The night vision feature works very well and provides our DVR with good quality images. I am very pleased with these cameras, in fact the entire Q-see product line is a good quality, reasonably priced solution for those users needing a camera based security system.
