Value Series S-Video cables are constructed with high quality multiple conductors delivering high quality video images. Separate conductors carry the Y-component (Chrominance) separate from the C-component (Luminance), providing better picture quality than a composite video cable. S-Video cables are commonly used for DVD players, satellite receivers, S-VHS VCRs, camcorders and interface with S-Video equipped televisions. S-Video cables also work with most PCs and notebooks with 7-pin TV-output jacks.

It was hard to find a long cable, but this one does the job as advertised.

Sub-standard quality
While the cable will work an s-video signal will degrade when quality is lacking especially at this length. Prior to purchasing this cable I was using one with gold fittings which produced far greater video quality. You get what you pay for...

As Described
Product was used to connect from laptop to TV that had an S-Video input. Worked just fine. Just be sure to remember that S-Video is video only and does not contain sound.

An $8 cable
It's cheap and it works. I use it to watch movies on my TV that are stored on my laptop. Works great!
