I decided to upgrade my PC from 2GB to 4GB using two sticks of these Patriot Signature units. The upgrade went very well and these memory sticks worked as advertised. Only 3GB shows in Windows but that is to be expected on a 32-bit PC/OS. I never thought I'd see the day that a 2GB DDR2 memory module will sell for less than a BluRay DVD movie! |

Just bought my 2nd stick of 2 gig DDR2 5300 to add to comp, putting me at 2 sticks patriot DDR2 5300 2048 meg running in dual channel, finally maxed out on memory, and i love it, runs smooth as silk with my new Ultra LS400 W power supply and AMD 64X2 5400+, comps runnin real nice with the handy parts at good prices at compusa, only store i shop in florida. very happy with everything so far, cudos. |

Solid memory at a great price. Been running solid at a 20% overclock for 6 months now. If you are building a general use setup or upgrading an older computer this memory is for you. |

I had no problem @ all installing this memory in my Dell OptiPlex GX 520. Dell told me that 4gb of memory may not read the entire 4gb, but when I booted the computer the bios showed the full 4gb. Under Windows XP system it shows 3.49gb and Dell gives a complete review as to why. It has only been in a few days. So far it is working great! |
