Great tv for the price. Black levels are good but the overall picture is great!!!! A lot of inputs and it switches automatically when ever you turn something else on!!!! |

srcharp clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. I have a 47'' Westy for over a year, with DVD connected via DVI, a Mac connected via DVI, and my HD DVR connected via HDMI. And yes, they're all connected at the same time and no, of course, you needn't unplug them in order to use them.
We're well pleased with it. I will say that newer LCD panels have better black levels....my one complaint. But I'm okay with it because it's half the cost, and the number of inputs is superb. |

This set has some nice features, but a warning about purchasing this.
Tiger Direct will not accept returns of these sets if you get a defective one, and they refer you to Westinghouse.
Westinghouse demands you return the set that arrives defective at YOUR cost and they will try to get it back to you in 3-4 weeks
Westinghouse has horrible support, heck their tech support told me the reason I was having problems with the set was that I had more then one device connected to it at once (pc, sattelite box, dvd, etc) and that though the tv has 10 inputs you are only supposed to have one input connected at any given time (so unplug your cable or satelite box to plug in your dvd player, etc what a joke)
Search the internet for this tv series (the 32, 37, 42, and 47 which I own) they all have well known problems with the sound and picture constanly getting out of synch)
So if you want a tv that freezes up, loses sound, the sound and picture going out of synch, horrible blacks, buy this |
