Not what I expected, it works!
I read a ton of reviews about this item, most were pretty bad. I bought it on sale so I figured I would try it. I put it into a I7-2700 system I was building as a graphics workstation. I installed it without issue, no rocket science to hook it up, and to my surprise it works really well. I do not use the fan speed part but I do use everything else without any problem. I think the only thing I might say is it would be nice if there were two sets of screw holes on each side to keep it from rocking in the slot. Not a big issue but with plastic you have tend to try to overtighten the one set of screws and will strip them out. Nice product and does it's job as described. It has been installed for about a month.

Great product, as described, does what it promises
I bought this as I needed another USB port on the front of my machine and a media card media, and rather than cluttering up my office more than it is already, this helps by keeping it all in the machine. It works, and does what it should do. All temps look accurate and all ports are working fine. I would have preferred silver as that would match my case, but that's the only issue. Well worth the money.
