Works as intended
I replaced my defective laptop memory with 2GB Patriot memory and the 5 year old laptop works as if it was new again.

Didn't work in EEE 900 but...
I bought this memory module explicitly for my EEE 900, but it would not take. I updated the BIOS to the latest version just in case there was some known issues with Patriot memory. However, the memory works famously in my XPS laptop.

Speeded up my nice older Compaq laptop
The 5-year-old laptop was already nice in many ways, but a bit slow. This Patriot chip replaced one of the 1-MB chips and brought total memory up the maximum Windows 7 Home Premium recognizes: 3-MB. The booting time and performance improved quite noticeably. I later added a tiny USB plug (802.11N)to enhance Internet speeds and decided I don't need a computer for a long time.

Perfect Laptop Upgrade
Bought a couple of these to upgrade my wife's Dell laptop from 2GB to 4GB. Drop in replacement, drop-dead simple.

Not working with Lenovo 3000N200
Didn't work with that laptop (for a friend). Got stuck ater POST. But used my memory from my Acer laptop and used the bought Patriot in mine. No complaints so far on both machines.
