BUYER BEWARE!
I've had the CX9400 for about six months and in a frustrated rage hurled it in the garbage last night. Even though it worked perfectly well, I refuse, on principle, to send one more penny epson's way for ink. It sucks color ink like there's no tomorrow, even when nothing (ever) is printed in color. If any one of three color cartridges are dry (which they will be quickly) then you can't print anything, period, including black & white printing, or send/receive fax's, until you replace the cartridge(s). Its an absolute scam and an insult. I'll never, EVER, buy another Epson product again in my life.

I bought this printer about 3 month ago, now the original ink is empty, bought a new ink, but the printer cannot recognize the new ink. very disappointed. already change a lot of new ink, but still not working. not recommended to buy this printer. may be because this printer is cheap, but a lot of problem.

This printer is great for the price. Easy set up, very nice users documents and auto feed is the nuts! Auto scan right to PDF file auto save. All this for $99, how can you beat that. Tom from Buffalo, NY Would recomend to anyone.

I purchased this printer 06/15/08 and have used it for every thing including fax. Excelent printer. A little noisy but can live with that for the price. Only con is the paper is difficult to load. I returned to Epson as the Lexmark printer I had, had no updated drivers for Vista 64 bit. Epson has always been very reliable, ie trouble free operation and can always find drivers for oudated printers.

I've owned this printer since Sept 07 and the first one failed at 6 months. It is slow to initialize, fax quality is lacking and the paper feed lets your paper deform while sitting there. Replacing the ink cartridges is a royal pain as the carrier will not center when you open the lid. You must sift through the menu on the front panel to make it move so you can replace a cartridge. This is the most pathetic printer I've owned in a lot of years and I'm going back to hp for my next one.
