Meant to order the Pro version of this, and without paying attention I ordered this. However, I'm very pleased with the performance and price of this set, and will be keeping it. The mouse feels very much like my beloved old MX600. It tracks FAR better though, and the wireless reception is EXCELLENT!
Be sure to hit the company's website to download the updated firmware for the reciever!
Note however! I had an issue with the included extender. The thing leaves the reciever leaning at about a 45 degree angle, which gave me absolutely LOUSY reception no matter what I did. I used an adapter by another brand instead that leaves the reciever standing erect, vertically, out of it's base on the desk, and all reception problems cleared instantly. I can now use the set anywhere in the room and never miss a click or key.
Excellent value! Just be prepared to deal with connection issues by moving the USB reciever around or using a different base. |
