Customer Reviews
OMG!
I had never heard of such a thing. I built a new machine not realizing that it was all SATA, my old machine, which was dead was EIDE. How to get the files off of the HDDs? Your looking at it fellas! This is the simplest way to transfer files. And the price!?! Did you see the PRICE? Stop messing around you need this, you know you need this. I'm running Linux, if I can do it, you know you can too!
Great product
I ordered this product to recover files from a HDD on a computer with a fried motherboard. The product arrived promptly in perfect condition. It worked perfectly and i was able to recover some very important files. I know (that is why you should always back up your work), but we have all done it and have to learn the hard way. The price was very good and service was excellent. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
No problem
Used this for years with HDDs with no problem never worked with optical drives, then again they don't have data so just get a new one
Works Perfectly
I bought this cable to retrieve files off the hard drives from a non-working computer. Start to finish - the whole thing took only about 30 minutes straight out of the box. No software to deal with, just a quick link to the old hard drive, a few permission changes, and drag and drop. Very easy.
hard drive transfer
I bought these cable to transfer some pictures and files from an old hard drive I had. The cables I bought did not work my windows XP computer, I tried it on a laptop I had that used windows 7. The hard drive showed up on the laptop but would never stop reading the hard drive and I could not see my files on the hard drive.
