why test a power supply on a working mobo if you dont have to? works great, my only beef, as with any molex connector, you have to fuss with the pin-socket a bit to make it line up. Don't force it, and the floppy connector should of been better fastened to the device as it wants to remove the plastic guide when you unplug it, but its new and a bit stiff yet. But the readings are accurate aginst my beckman bench dvm. Should of had a current load test built in too. |

I got this in great condition. The instructions included are good and simple. I used it so far on several working computers and it reads well. Its good to have to help you troubleshoot issues or just to check that all is good. |

Works great instructions didn't cover all the ports so you need to know what you are doing, saved me money right off the top. |

Ok so I ordered this psu tester to test out a power supply I just got and what do you know,it works.The 20 plus 4 pin connector shows the voltage and everything on the front panel.The only problem is my P4 connector is dead.Looks like I'll be needing a new psu.Thank you coolmax for a good psu tester. |

This is a very useful tool for diagnosing problem PSU's. It does everything the description says and it is quite easy to use. Other reviews have stated that no instructions were included; however, there are instructions with mine. The cardboard packaging is folded in half and the instructions are inside the fold. Digital display tells exactly what the voltage is on each rail, so you will know if the power output is lower than it should be.
I recommend this device for anyone that needs to know if their PSU is functioning properly. |

This was my first power supply tester, and it performed well. Reading the displays takes a bit of getting used to, but it works well. I'm the head of IT at a small TV station, and having the ability to tell at a glance whether the power supply is good helps a lot. Shrinking budgets mean we are fixing and combining computers over buying new ones. This is a good tool for any IT professional.
BTW, the backing opens up to a user guide, which is also available on the Coolmax website. |

This little baby covers everything and nails the problem. Retired from a blue chip company a couple of years back. Wish I had this when I was in the sevice industry instead of pulling out the meters. (Ya could include a set of instructions though) |
